Unterkiefer. Gegliedertes zweites und drittes Paar Mundwerkzeuge der Mandibulata (Krebstiere, Tausendüßer, Insekten). Bei Insekten ist das zweite Maxillenpaar zur Unterlippe (Labium) Verschmolzen, bei Tausendüßern bilden die ersten und zweiten Maxillen eine Unterlippe (Gnathochilarium)

Lower jaw. A second and third pair of Mandibulata mouthpieces (creatures, millipedes, insects). In insects the second maxillary pair is fused to the lower lip (labium); in the case of insects, the first and second maxillae form a lower lip (gnathochilarium)
