1st & 2nd Day: Beach Days in Juan Dolio

We spontaneously wanted to go on vacation in November and since it was still warm in the Dominican Republic, we exceptionally booked a package vacation.
We don't like big hotels and everything that's planned around them. Guided tours, animation etc.
The flight was about 4-5 hours, non-stop and pretty quick. It took another 1.5 hours from the airport to the hotel.

But the hotel was very crowded, because all the new tourists arrived at the same time and the lobby was full. That's what you get when you travel on a package deal and at the last minute.
We booked the Costa Caribe in Juan Dolio quite cheaply for about 9 days and were curious what would await us in these days.

Once you get to the room, it's better. We felt really good. The weather was great and the nature was just great.
The area and the hotel were really great. Flora and fauna, beach and sun.

In the evening there was the first entertainment show with African dance. Very good!
Unfortunately, the beer that you got as an all-inclusive tourist was not very good, so I always bought some bottlebeer in the hotel shop.
Yes, the first two days were pretty good, comfortable and quiet. We booked another tour to Isla Catalina and more about that in the next blog.
