For the trip to Sapa we booked the Sleeper-Bus from Sapa Express. He picked us up on 21.05 at 6:30am and brought us back on 23.05 at 3pm. We paid 673.000 Dong per Person.
So let´s ride. After 1.5 hours we stopped at a kind of Rest Area and we had something to eat there. You were only allowed to enter the bus without Shoes and when you got off everyone had to put on Sandals that you could take from a Box.

The journey in the Sleeperbus was very pleasant and took about 5.5 hours.
We were let out at the Busstation and made our way to our Hotel. It was on the High Mountain and we had to walk up the steep Road with our Luggage. We checked in at 1 pm.
Samu Green Hotel
We were warmly welcomed and taken to our Room. Unfortunately, the View of the Mountains was still bad, as you only saw a white wall. We directly booked a scooter for 3 days through the Hotel for 360.000 Dong. The Hotel cost 660.000 Dong for 3 days.
We unpacked by the time the Scooter was handed over, planned the Day and I found a Bug on the Terrace.

Finally riding a Scooter again, feeling the Freedom and the Wind. Just great!

Yes, in the meantime the Fog and Clouds had settled. The Weather was fantastic and the View very nice for the Fansipan.
Beef Pho, (Phở Bò)
Pho is said to originally come from the North, probably from the Province of Nam Dinh, which is near Hanoi. There are many Versions of Pho that can be enjoyed in Vietnam.
But we took more Pictures than we ate...
A wonderful Day so far and we are full for more.
A short Scooter ride further down the Valley to the Rice Terraces and more. There were plenty of parking spaces and we paid 5.000 Dong...for the Tour of Cat Cat a total of 140.000 Dong.

This Insect is between 15-20cm long. I have never seen this Animal in Nature and I did not know that such an Insect existed. It's really huge. The Larvae of them are often used as fishing bait.
A really nice way back, lots of Jungle and a River to look out on at times.

We drove around a bit, a little more to the left of Cat Cat Village and we walked a path into the Jungle to look for Scorpions but during the Day it's difficult.

A long and exciting Day, with lots of Flora and Fauna and nice People as well as good Food. That's exactly how it has to be and tomorrow there will be a few more Waterfalls and Jungles.
