7 Days: Egypt - Makadi Bay

So, something a little different for us. A all inclusive holiday with the family! Amanda's father is turning 60, wanted to celebrate in Egypt, and invited us.
We are in Makadi Bay, which is below Hurghada and 50 minutes away.

Relaxed!
The hotel was very well maintained. The food, from breakfast to dinner, was simply excellent and varied.
The best food I've ever had at an all-inclusive hotel. There was a very good spa area with fitness equipment and massage services. Comprehensive entertainment was offered for children and adults from morning till night. On the beach, there was a jetty with a large coral reef.

Next Day! We did a Boattour with snorkeling.

Today was a Quad Tour. It was really great. The four of us drove right through the desert to a camp and drove back at sunset, where we were given something to eat. All this for a total of €70 for 3 persons.

The Camp
I walked around the Camp to search for scorpions.
Back with sunset.
Now there's something to eat, and surprisingly, a belly dancing show and a whirling Dervish dancer.
The dancers were really very good and the food also. The Dervish dancer spun around in a circle for minutes. More on that in the video.
The next day I ended up with severe tendonitis in my right wrist from the quad tour because I rode one-handed for two hours. But it was worth it for the video.
So, we went into the desert to look for scorpions and found some.

And afterwards there was a snake show at the hotel, which was rather strange. Amanda and others volunteered to participate...the snakes were a bit too sedated and defecated on the stage.
We had a wonderful time in a lovely hotel, enjoying great excursions with excellent food. No one got sick and everyone had a fantastic time. So far, it's been the best All-inclusive holiday we've ever had.
