Pearl Farm
Here you have an insight into the extraction of pearls, the breeding tanks and you can watch everyone at work. Here you can also buy pearl jewelry, there is a small shop for that.
And you can Kayak and get closer to the pearl areas.
Yes, you have to say there is a bit of rubbish on the banks here, but we've seen worse than that. There was no litter in the water and the corals look good. A nice trip, very relaxed everything.
After a few hours we headed back to our bay...i love Vietnam Beer!

Cooking Class
And after this fun cooking class we went back to Hanoi. We were there at 5pm, drove to the hotel and visited Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square in the evening which was very lively.
After 2 days on the water, in peaceful Halong bay, it was all the nicer to be back on land in the hustle and bustle. The contrast was powerful. A really great atmosphere.
Streetfood
You can't get enough. Everyone is happy, big circles are formed in which people dance and have fun everywhere, but we can't stay here until night, because tomorrow morning we go to Sapa.
And it takes time to get across the street that evening.
