On the way to the Port.

The weather was a little variable. We drove to El Arenal to see what's going on there. The beach was well occupied but otherwise there wasn't much to see but the weather got better.

We went to Alcudia and didn't know there was a festival.

These big doll-like people were the highlight of our day. They are called Gigantes here. And that festival is the Fiesta Romana.

We walked a little through the old town which was very nicely decorated.

And we found the place with food, a delicious suckling pig and music.

But first we went to the city wall with a beautiful view of the Tramuntana mountains.

So back to the delicious suckling pig and music...

We had a great and long day and this 2nd time in Alcudia and Palma was something new again. In this blog we report on our first visit in 2016.
