We had originally planned to visit the Alhambra today and see the inside, but it was so crowded that no one else was allowed in. Later we learned that you have to book months in advance.
So we went straight to Granada City, and it was wonderful.
Granada
Paseo del Violon, Flamenco Monument Fuente de las Granadas
Plaza del Campilo
Fuente De Las Batallas Marigolds, Tagetes patula, (Bolero)
We were walking around for a bit and by chance came across...
Granada Cathedral
Some Alleys around.
Also a nice street performer in the Calle Oficio.
So, walkin around. The streets are really great with their shops and buildings.
And we found a moroccan Restaurant.
Grupo Meknes
Calle Elvira 11 Mint Tea
It was slowly but surely time to go to the Flamenco Show.
Grapes
So here we are.
Jardines de Zoraya
We were finally let in. There weren't many other spectators, just a small group, but that was fine. We had our pick of seats and the best view of the stage. We were very excited what we will see for 20€ per person.
Sherry Pedro Ximenez and Sangria Sherry Pedro Ximenez
Here we go. The guitarist José Cortés (El Pirata) tune up and the dancer Cristina Carrasco starts solo and then with the partner Luis de Luis.
José Cortés (El Pirata) Cristina Carrasco
Short break after 15 minutes.
It continued solo with Cristina Carrasco.
Cristina Carrasco
What a performance. And now Luis de Luis.
The show was truly excellent from beginning to end. So much energy and passion from everyone! Probably the best show we´ve ever seen.
Yes, we'll walk around and search for a Snack.
Calle Calderería Nueva Monumento a las Capitulaciones Plaza Isabel Católica Wild Garlic, Tulbaghia violacea
We found the restaurant Brinas with a view of the cathedral.
Hamburguesa Iberi Gambas al Ajillo
We still have a bit of a drive ahead of us to our next accommodation in the Sierra Nevada, but we wanted to do some shopping beforehand.
Nevada Shopping Center
Enough of the city and shopping. Now it's time to get out into nature. We found a great spot with a view a little way from our accommodation and waited for the sundown.
Ok, we are in our accomodation Monte Gorbea in the Sierra Nevada.
It's a ski resort and the hotel is enormous. Strangely enough, we're on the top floor. The whole area seems completely uninhabited. No lights in the houses and no people. But we had a nice view and Beer.
Exactly...and because there are also scorpions at 2200m altitude, we will now go looking for them at 10°.
Buthus sp.

It was really cold. We went back to our room and rested so we could drive back to Fuengirola tomorrow. And there will also be some daytime pictures from here.
