At 7:30 a.m. we were picked up punctually at our hotel Hanoi Lucky II for the 2-day tour of Halong Bay- the UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994. We paid 170€ for 2 people. We booked this tour with Kim Travel.
The journey started at 8:15 am and was supposed to last 4 hours.
We went to the ship in a small boat. Of course, the food was also transported directly.

We first stopped at Chan Thien My Souvenir Market with beautiful art, jewelry workshop and many other kinds of souvenirs.
The workshop Chan Thien My helps to hire them, artisans who became disabled after their parents inhaled Agent Orange during the Vietnam War - In the picture you can see a wheelchair.
So, time for lunch on the Boat. There was tofu, fish, fries, cucumber, egg, schnitzel and calamari. So not typically Vietnamese.
We weren't very hungry and went on deck.
Now it's getting exciting...
Hang Sung Sot
...it should probably go up there.
We didn't really know what to expect here. We started from the plateau and walked a few steps and way up.
Sung Sot Cave
A very, very beautiful cave, with lots of light and good paths. You could take endless pictures here.
It looks like a circular route and here is the spot we photographed from the Plateau.
We went down and came out opposite the plateau.
A nice and relaxed place.
Not far from here and basically just a few minutes by boat straight ahead, continued to a viewpoint...
Ti Top Island
And we had to climb some steps and paths to see a beautiful view.
Ti Top Dinh nui Dao
We spent some time here and headed down as the sun slowly started to set.
A very friendly atmosphere here.
But we drove to our anchorage after a few minutes and waited for our dinner while the sun continued to set.
There was pak choi with salad, rice, shrimp, beans with beef, yellow curry, breaded fish, BBQ skewers and spring rolls. Really really great!
In Halong Bay at night! On a ship! This wonderful time here with this great view. And a good Ha Long Beer!
What a day! Tomorrow will be more around the Halong Bay.
